A note from the principal.....

Welcome to Silver Creek High School!

It is my pleasure to welcome you to Silver Creek High School. As a lifelong educator, I am honored to serve as principal of a school with such a rich tradition of excellence and community support. We are especially grateful to the Sellersburg community for its investment in our students through the construction of our beautiful new facility, which opened just over a year ago.
At SCHS, we are committed to helping every student discover their strengths, pursue their passions, and prepare for success after graduation. Whether students choose college, military service, the workforce, or another pathway, our goal is to equip them with the knowledge, skills, and character needed to thrive in an ever-changing world.
Silver Creek High School offers a wide range of academic, career and technical, fine arts, athletic, and extracurricular opportunities designed to challenge students and help them grow. We encourage all students to become actively involved in school life and take advantage of the many opportunities available to them.
At SCHS, we believe that high expectations and strong relationships go hand in hand. Our dedicated faculty and staff work each day to support, challenge, and inspire students while fostering a culture where every student is valued and encouraged to reach their full potential. We also recognize that student success is strengthened when schools and families work together. For that reason, we encourage parents and guardians to remain actively involved in their student's educational journey by monitoring academic progress, communicating with teachers, and participating in school events and activities.
The high school years are a time of tremendous growth, discovery, and independence. Through a partnership among students, families, and staff, we can ensure that every Dragon is prepared not only for graduation but for success in life beyond Silver Creek High School.
