A note from the principal.....

Silver Creek Dragon Families,

Thank you for your interest in Silver Creek High School.  This fall marks my 33rd year in education.  Over that time, I have served in a variety of roles.  My first position in education was as  an English teacher, head wrestling and assistant football coach at Saint Xavier High School in Louisville, KY.  

After 7 years at St. X, I moved back home to my alma mater, Floyd Central High School.  There, I served the school in a variety of capacities such as an English teacher, head wrestling coach, and assistant football coach.  In 2008, I then moved into administration, where I was an assistant principal for 8 years.  I then became the 6th principal in the history of the school in the fall of 2016.  

Along the way, I earned my Master’s Degree in Secondary Education as well as a license in administration, and in 2014, I earned my Ph.D. in Educational Leadership from Indiana State University.  

Silver Creek High School is very proud to open our new facility to our student body this fall!  The project touched every part of the building in some way.  Our students and staff are well-equipped to be prepared for what the future brings.  Please contact us if you would like to visit.
